    The overall theme on KOTCB is is a lot like the Hitchcock movie \”The Birds.\” If I remember correctly, which I probably don't, the birds disappear for a little while (the worldwide shortage in clowns that you have documented so well) and then when the birds, or clowns as the case may be, reappear, they have multiplied, joined forces and are prepared for a reckoning of apocalyptic proportions. This lone, silent, observant clown may well be the first fruits of the apocalypse.
